Actuación fisioterápica en el linfedema de las pacientes tratadas de cáncer de endometrio

    Objetivos: Conocer si el tratamiento fisioterápico es efectivo para evitar la aparición y/o progresión del linfedema de los miembros inferiores en las pacientes tratadas de cáncer de endometrio. Metodología: Revisión narrativa de la literatura científica en las bases de datos MEDLINE, PEDro, PubMed, Web of Science y Crochane Library Plus, tanto en inglés como en español, desde el año 2005 hasta el 2017. Resultados: Actualmente se prescribe la Terapia Descongestiva Compleja, que consiste en el drenaje linfático manual, presoterapia, vendajes compresivos, ejercicios y cuidados de la piel. Conclusiones: La Terapia Descongestiva Compleja es la terapéutica que ha demostrado su eficacia en el tratamiento del linfedema en los miembros inferiores en el cáncer de endometrio, debido a que es la opción de tratamiento en todos los artículos relativos a este tema.

    Objective: To know if the physiotherapeutic treatment is effective to avoid the appearance and /or progression of lymphedema of the lower limbs in the treated patients of endometrial cancer. Methodology: Narrative review of the scientific literature in the MEDLINE, PEDro, PubMed, Web of Science and Crochane Library Plus databases, both in English and Spanish, from 2005 to 2017. Results: Complex decongestive therapy is currently prescribed, consisting of manual lymphatic drainage, presotherapy, compressive bandages, exercises and skin care. Conclusions: Complex decongestive therapy is the therapy that has proven effective in the treatment of lymphedema in lower limbs in endometrial cancer, because it is the treatment option in all articles related to this topic.
