Resumen Objetivo: Evaluar los conocimientos, actitudes y motivaciones de las enfermeras en base al componente de experiencia y no experiencia en investigación en un hospital de nivel III. Metodología: Investigación cuantitativa con diseño observacional descriptivo y transversal. Participaron 129 enfermeras del Hospital Universitario Son Espases (HUSE) en abril de 2021. Los datos fueron recogidos mediante el formulario de Cepeda Diez de 2009. Resultados: El 77,6% de las enfermeras con experiencia (EE) y el 80,7% sin experiencia (ESE) expresaron falta de tiempo para investigar. El 61,5% de ESE y 40.8% de EE creen no tener conocimientos suficientes. De los ESE, el 50% cree tener acceso a fuentes de información y el 61,5% tienen recursos materiales para llevarla a cabo. Ambos grupos coinciden en los beneficios de investigar, y que ayuda al reconocimiento de la profesión (98% EE y 84.7% ESE). Conclusiones: EE y ESE coinciden en la falta de tiempo, los beneficios de investigar y que supone una mejora para la profesión. Difieren en el nivel de conocimientos existente.
Abstract Objective: To evaluate nurses’ knowledge, attitudes and motivations based on the component of experience and non-experience in research in a third level hospital. Method: Quantitative research with a descriptive and cross-sectional observational design. A total of 129 nurses from the Hospital Universitario Son Espases (HUSE) participated in April 2021. Data were collected using the 2009 Cepeda Diez form. Results: 77.6% of the experienced nurses (EN) and 80.7% of the inexperienced nurses (IN) expressed lack of time to do research. 61.5% of IN and 40.8% of EN believe they do not have sufficient knowledge. Of the IN, 50% believe they have access to sources of information and 61.5% have material resources to carry it out. Both groups agree on the benefits of research, and that it helps the recognition of the profession (98% EN and 84.7% IN). Conclusions: EE and IN agree on the lack of time, the benefits of research and that it is an improvement for the profession. They differ in the level of existing knowledge.
