La Covid-19 interrumpió nuestras vidas hace unos años y fue para quedarse. A día de hoy siguen llegando muchos casos de ingreso en la planta por Covid-19. Se trata de una enfermedad causada por un virus, que tiene diferentes formas de manifestarse, siendo la respiratoria la más habitual. Actualmente también llegan casos a las urgencias del hospital, que acuden por otra razón, pero se realiza una prueba de antígenos y resultan positivos en Covid.
Se expone el caso de una paciente de 87 años, que acude a urgencias por fiebre de origen desconocido. Se diagnostica finalmente de Covid + y retención aguda de orina. Y se decide su ingreso a cargo de medicina interna.
Debido a su estado actual, se realiza un programa de atención enfermero, para optimizar todos los cuidados de la paciente.
Se realiza una valoración, un diagnóstico NANDA de los principales problemas de la paciente, una planificación de los objetivos e intervenciones a realizar, una ejecución del plan y una evaluación final de nuestra actividad enfermera.

The case of an 87-year-old patient is presented, who comes to the emergency room with a fever of unknown origin. She is finally diagnosed with Covid + and acute urinary retention. And it is decided to admit her to the care of internal medicine.
Due to her current condition, a nursing care program is carried out, to optimize all the patient’s care.
An assessment is carried out, a NANDA diagnosis of the patient’s main problems, a planning of the objectives and interventions to be carried out, an execution of the plan and a final evaluation of our nursing activity.
