    La enfermedad de Crohn se define como una afectación intestinal, la cual está caracterizada por la inflamación de los tejidos del tracto digestivo, lo cual puede llegar a evolucionar en estenosis, fístulas y perforaciones a lo largo del tracto digestivo, siendo la parte más afectada el íleon distal. Su incidencia ha aumentado en los últimos años y es por ello que vemos necesario realizar una revisión bibliográfica acerca de esta afectación.

    Crohn’s disease is defined as an intestinal disorder, which is characterized by inflammation of the tissues of the digestive tract, which can evolve into strictures, fistulas and perforations along the digestive tract, with the most affected part being the distal ileum. Its incidence has increased in recent years and that is why we find it necessary to carry out a bibliographic review about this condition.
