La hemodiálisis presenta determinadas complicaciones, entre ellas el riesgo de hipotensión y shock hipovolémico, especialmente incrementado si existe una patología previa como puede ser una hemorragia digestiva activa; la cual podría llevar a una parada cardiorrespiratoria. Se presenta el caso de un paciente ingresado en uci tras realizar reanimación cardiopulmonar por sufrir una parada cardiorrespiratoria.
Hemodialysis presents certain complications, including the risk of hypotension and hypovolemic shock, especially increased if there is a previous pathology such as active digestive bleeding; which could lead to cardiorespiratory arrest. The case of a patient admitted to the ICU after performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation due to suffering cardiorespiratory arrest is presented.
