Proximal humerus fractures represent an emerging problem in today’s society, occupying a large number of cases, especially in the elderly population. They represent the third most common skeletal fracture, accounting for 45% of all humeral fractures, with 13 to 16% corresponding to fractures in three and four fragments1.
