Los cuidados invisibles (CI) se engloban en la práctica asistencial de los cuidados y se relacionan con la parte emocional, la humanización y la trascendencia, estos cuidados fomentan la creación de un vínculo entre enfermera-paciente basado en la confianza y en la ayuda, que aporta tanto al paciente como a su familia un clima de seguridad, bienestar y confort, además de aumentar su calidad de vida y favorecer su recuperación. Es la parte no técnica del cuidado, pero que acompaña a los diferentes procedimientos y técnicas de unos cuidados profesionalizados. En la actualidad, estos cuidados de calidad no pueden ser medidos ni registrados, por lo que es un trabajo enfermero totalmente invisible. La siguiente revisión bibliográfica trata de darles la visibilidad que se merecen y conocer los factores que invisibilizan dichos cuidados innatos de la profesión enfermera.
Invisible care (IC) is included in the care practice and is related to the emotional part, humanization and transcendence. This care encourages the creation of a bond between nurse-patient based on trust and the help, that provides both the patient and their family with a climate of security, well-being and comfort, in addition to increasing their quality of life and promoting their recovery. It’s the non-technical part of care, but it accompanies the different procedures and techniques of professional care. Currently, this quality care cannot be measured or recorded, making it a totally invisible nursing job. The following bibliographic review tries to give them the visibility they deserve and to know the factors that make such innate care of the nursing profession invisible.
