The care plan includes interventions aimed at preventing complications, managing symptoms, and providing emotional support to both the patient and his family. The nursing interventions were guided by the NANDA taxonomy for diagnoses, NIC for interventions, and NOC for outcomes. Throughout the course of care, significant improvements in the patient’s quality of life were observed, highlighting the critical role of nursing in managing this progressive neurodegenerative disease in primary care. The case emphasizes the importance of a multidisciplinary approach, continuous assessment, and personalized care strategies in enhancing the well-being of patients with ALS.
