El trastorno de ideas delirantes inducidas, también conocido como “folie à deux” o locura de dos, es una enfermedad mental de tipo trastorno psicótico.
En esta enfermedad participan 2 o más pacientes, únicamente el paciente dominante es el que realmente padece una enfermedad psicótica diagnosticada. El resto, son personas con las que tiene un lazo muy estrecho y con las que convive, personas muy influenciables, con un carácter y una personalidad fácilmente manejables, además, dependen del paciente dominante y todas ellas viven aisladas del mundo exterior.
La persona dominante va tratando de instruir poco a poco sus delirios al resto de convivientes y de alguna manera pretende que sean participes en ellos. Estos delirios, suelen ser sucesos que han vivido, recuerdos o situaciones creíbles, así entrarían dentro de unos parámetros normales.
Induced delusional disorder, also known as “folie à deux” or madness of two, is a psychotic disorder-type mental illness.
Two or more patients participate in this illness; only the dominant patient is the one who actually suffers from a diagnosed psychotic illness. The rest are people with whom he has a very close bond and with whom he lives, very impressionable people, with an easily manageable character and personality, in addition, they depend on the dominant patient and all of them live isolated from the outside world.
The dominant person tries to instruct his delusions little by little to the rest of the cohabitants and in some way wants them to participate in them. These delusions are usually events they have experienced, memories or credible situations, so they would fall within normal parameters.
