Paciente de 36 años de edad diagnosticada de carcinoma ductal infiltrante de mama izquierda. Comienza con ciclos de quimioterapia, hasta un total de 12. Tras el último ciclo se decide intervenir a la paciente. En dicha intervención quirúrgica de forma programada se le realiza cirugía conservadora de mama izquierda con exéresis del tumor y margen de seguridad guiada por arpón.
A 36-year-old patient diagnosed with infiltrating ductal carcinoma of the left breast. She began chemotherapy cycles, up to a total of 12. After the last cycle, it was decided to operate on the patient. During this scheduled surgical intervention, left breast conserving surgery was performed with excision of the tumour and harpoon-guided safety margin.
