Mujer de 38 años se presenta a la consulta de enfermería debido a un dolor intenso, inflamación y enrojecimiento en el seno izquierdo que ha empeorado en los últimos 2 días. Refiere que el dolor es pulsátil, constante además de enrojecimiento y calor en la zona afectada. También menciona que ha tenido fiebre de hasta 38.5°C y se siente muy fatigada.
Hace 5 meses le diagnosticaron Ca de Mama, la paciente actualmente está en tratamiento con quimioterapia. Refiere tener dificultades para hacer frente a los efectos secundarios de la quimioterapia.
A 38-year-old woman presents to the nursing clinic due to intense pain, swelling and redness in the left breast that has worsened over the last 2 days. She reports constant throbbing pain, redness and warmth in the affected area. She also mentions that she has had a fever of up to 38.5°C and feels very fatigued.
She was diagnosed with breast cancer 5 months ago and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. She reports having difficulty coping with the side effects of the chemotherapy.
