La insuficiencia mitral (IM) es la incompetencia de la válvula mitral que moviliza el flujo desde el ventrículo izquierdo hacia la aurícula izquierda durante la sístole ventricular. Para tratar la IM, existen tratamientos farmacológicos y quirúrgicos (de reparación o sustitución) mediante CEC o de forma percutánea. A continuación, se presenta un caso clínico de una cirugía de reemplazo de válvula mitral por bioprótesis mediante CEC desde la perspectiva enfermera y sus diferentes funciones. Durante el caso, se ahondará en los diagnósticos enfermeros NANDA según las necesidades de la paciente.
Mitral regurgitation (MR) is the incompetence of the mitral valve that moves flow from the left ventricle to the left atrium during ventricular systole. To treat MR, there are both pharmacological and surgical (repair or replacement) treatments using CPB or percutaneously. In the following, a clinical case of a mitral valve replacement surgery by bioprosthesis using CPB is presented from a nursing perspective and its different roles. During the case, the NANDA nursing diagnoses will be discussed according to the patient’s needs.
