El trabajo expuesto a continuación consiste en un caso clínico de una paciente de 57 años intervenida por miomas uterinos con degeneración sarcomatosa. Se realizó el ingreso, acogida e identificación de la paciente, luego pasó a quirófano y tras la intervención estuvo ingresada tres días en los cuales se estableció un plan de cuidados con el objetivo de mejorar su salud. El propósito del artículo es identificar las necesidades alteradas y rehabilitar a la paciente desde las competencias de enfermería.
Enfermería estableció una serie de intervenciones a realizar para conseguir los objetivos establecidos en relación con los diagnósticos enfermeros. Para proporcionar la mayor calidad de cuidados posible se utilizó el modelo conceptual de Virginia Henderson con la taxonomía NANDA, NOC y NIC. Todo ello contribuyó a la mejora progresiva de la paciente intervenida, consiguiendo los resultados esperados sin presentar complicaciones.
Se le dio el alta, pasando a cargo de su enfermera de Atención Primaria para la retirada de grapas y revisión de la herida quirúrgica. Además, se dieron recomendaciones sobre el cuidado postoperatorio idóneo para la mejoría total de la paciente desde su domicilio.
The following study consists of a clinical case of a 57-year-old patient operated on for uterine fibroids with sarcomatous degeneration. The patient was admitted, received and identified, then went to the operating theatre and after the operation was admitted for three days during, which a care plan was established with the aim of improving her health. The purpose of the article is to identify the altered needs and rehabilitate the patient based on nursing competencies.
Nursing established a series of interventions to be carried out in order to achieve the objectives established in relation to the nursing diagnoses. In order to provide the highest possible quality of care, Virginia Henderson’s conceptual model was used with the NANDA, NOC and NIC taxonomy. All this contributed to the progressive improvement of the patient who underwent surgery, achieving the expected results without complications.
The patient was discharged to the care of her primary care nurse for the removal of staples and revision of the surgical wound. In addition, recommendations were given on the ideal postoperative care for the complete improvement of the patient at home.
