Objetivo principal: La normativa catalana reguladora del Testamento Vital, Documento de Voluntades Anticipadas (DVA), permite formalizar el mismo en presencia de la enfermera. La enfermera, que debe tener una relación profesional de confianza con quien le manifiesta su deseo de hacer su DVA, ha de conocer su significado -expresión de la autonomía del paciente- así como las cuestiones que deben constar por escrito en el mismo, qué hacer con el documento una vez redactado, su valor legal, y cómo registrarlo. El presente estudio da respuesta a estas distintas cuestiones a partir de la normativa legal actualmente en vigor.
Objective: The Catalan regulations governing the Living Will, Advance Will Document, allow it to be formalized in the presence of the nurse. The nurse, who must have a professional relationship of trust with the person who expresses his desire to do his DVA, must know its meaning - expression of the patient's autonomy - as well as the questions that must be stated in writing in it, what to do with the document once written, its legal value, and how to register it. The present study answers these different questions based on the legal regulations currently in force.
