A la hora de afrontar una úlcera vascular el tratamiento tradicional consiste en centrarse en una curación a nivel local. Se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica para actualizar sobre el tratamiento integral del paciente con úlcera vascular, teniendo en cuento la evolución local de la herida, así como factores como hábitos de vida, sin dejar de lado los cambios que esta enfermedad supone a nivel emocional y social para el paciente, sin olvidar la función del cuidador principal.
When dealing with a vascular ulcer, traditional treatment consists of focusing on healing at a local level. A bibliographic review has been carried out to update the comprehensive treatment of patients with vascular ulcers, taking into account the local evolution of the wound, as well as factors such as lifestyle habits, without leaving aside the changes that this disease entails on an emotional and social level for the patient, without forgetting the role of the main caregiver.
