La cesárea es la operación ginecológica más común, consiste en la extracción del feto por vía abdominal a través de una incisión en el útero. Esta se realiza por múltiples motivos, entre ellos el parto prolongado y la inducción fallida. La cesárea lleva consigo diversos cambios en la vida de la madre y en su fisiología, sobre todo durante los primeros días postparto ya que al tratarse de una operación se ve limitada su movilidad y su descanso entre otras cosas, todo ello conlleva una adaptación necesaria para el buen desarrollo de la madre y del bebé.

This is done for multiple reasons, including prolonged labor and failed induction. The cesarean section brings with it various changes in the life of the mother and in her physiology, especially during the first days postpartum since, as it is an operation, her mobility and rest are limited, among other things. All of this entails a necessary adaptation to the good development of mother and baby.
