El metotrexato es un fármaco citostático e inmunosupresor, de uso creciente en Atención Prima-ria para el tratamiento de ciertas enfermedades cancerígenas, problemas reumatológicos y dermatológicos entre otros. Por lo tanto, la presente investigación, plantea la necesidad de evaluar el manejo y la exposición del del me-totrexato en el personal de enfermería, para describir el riesgo de exposición a los trabajadores que los manipulan.
Methotrexate is a cytostatic and immunosuppressive drug, increasingly used in Primary Care for the treatment of certain cancer diseases, rheumatological and dermatological problems, among others. Therefore, the present investigation raises the need to evaluate the handling and exposure of methotrexate in nursing staff, to describe the risk of exposure to workers who handle them.
