Varón de 20 años que acude a consulta de enfermería por un aumento en las deposiciones desde hace dos meses con pérdida de peso y astenia generalizada. Tras una primera entrevista se elabora un proceso de enfermería organizando de manera racional, lógica y sistemática la administración de cuidados enfermeros individualizados centrados en la identificación y tratamiento de las respuestas del paciente a procesos vitales y alteraciones de salud diagnosticadas. Para ello, se han seleccionado los diagnósticos enfermeros correspondientes según la taxonomía NANDA II, junto con los objetivos (NOC), intervenciones (NIC) y actividades más representativas.
Tras la aplicación del proceso enfermero creado el paciente ha ganado mucha confianza, ha afianzado el afrontamiento y autoconocimiento ante su nuevo estado de salud.
A 20-year-old male patient comes to the nursing office for an increase in bowel movements for two months with weight loss and generalized asthenia. After an initial interview, a nursing process is elaborated, organizing in a rational, logical and systematic way the administration of individualized nursing care focused on the identification and treatment of the patient’s responses to vital processes and diagnosed health alterations. For this purpose, the corresponding nursing diagnoses have been selected according to the NANDA II taxonomy, together with the most representative objectives (NOC), interventions (NIC) and activities.
After the application of the nursing process created, the patient has gained a great deal of confidence and has strengthened his coping and self-knowledge of his new state of health.
