El deterioro cognitivo es una patología común en la población geriátrica, con un gran porcentaje de afectados a nivel mundial. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar un caso clínico cuadro confusional momentáneo, en el que no reconoce a su mujer, estando a la espera todavía de citación por parte del servicio de Neurología, con el fin de realizar un plan de cuidados de enfermería, tras haber revisado bibliografía utilizando los buscadores disponibles. Por último, se realiza el plan de cuidados siguiendo la taxonomía NANDA – NIC – NOC.
Cognitive impairment is a common pathology in the geriatric population, with a large percentage of patients affected worldwide. The aim of this article is to analyze a clinical case of momentary confusional picture, in which he does not recognize his wife, and is still waiting for an appointment by the Neurology service, in order to make a nursing care plan, after reviewing the literature using the available search engines. Finally, the care plan is made following the NANDA – NIC – NOC taxonomy.
