La hemorragia exteriorizada por fosas nasales se denomina epistaxis, y su manejo debe realizarse tras el análisis del caso y factores de riesgo que presenta la persona afectada. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar un caso clínico de epistaxis en un paciente en tratamiento con anticoagulantes, con el fin de realizar un plan de cuidados de enfermería, tras haber revisado bibliografía utilizando los buscadores disponibles. Por último, se realiza el plan de cuidados siguiendo la taxonomía NANDA – NIC – NOC.
Externalized bleeding from the nostrils is denominated epistaxis, and its management must be carried out after analysis of the case and risk factors presented by the affected person. The aim of this article is to analyze a clinical case of epistaxis in a patient treated with anticoagulants, in order to draw up a nursing care plan, after having reviewed the literature using the available search engines. Finally, the care plan is drawn up following the NANDA – NIC – NOC taxonomy.
