Se presenta un caso de una paciente que acude a urgencias por un aumento de la disnea habitual. Tras el tratamiento recibido la paciente presenta mejoría sintomática y se decide su ingreso en el servicio de medicina interna para observación y tratamiento.
Se plantea un plan de cuidados estandarizado centrado en la situación del paciente y acorde a su diagnóstico.

We present a case of a patient who came to the emergency department for an increase in her usual dyspnoea. After treatment, the patient showed symptomatic improvement and it was decided to admit her to the internal medicine department for observation and treatment.
A standardised care plan is developed based on the patient’s situation and according to his or her diagnosis.
