Se presenta el caso de un paciente de 60 años que acude al servicio de urgencia tras presentar de forma brusca una debilidad facial y una hemiparesia izquierda.
Tras la realización del tratamiento médico correspondiente, se decide realizar la valoración de la deglución y se objetiva dificultades para la deglución, conocido como disfagia y decidiéndose poner una sonda nasogástrica.
We present the case of a 60- year- old patient who attended the emergency department after suddenly presenting facial weakness and left hemiparesis.
After carrying out the corresponding medical treatment, it was decided to perform a swallowing assessment and swallowing difficulties were observed, known as dysphagia, and it was decided to insert a nasogastric tube.
