Caso clínico referente a un paciente de 43 años diagnosticado de obesidad mórbida; fumador, padece hipertensión arterial, diabetes tipo II, hipercolesterolemia, insuficiencia respiratoria y apnea del sueño. Intervenido de bypass gástrico por laparoscopia en el Hospital Miguel Servet de Zaragoza. Tras la intervención fue trasladado a planta para su recuperación y fue dado de alta al tercer día. El presente artículo refleja el proceso de atención de enfermería llevado a cabo durante su postoperatorio.
Case report of a 43-year-old patient diagnosed with morbid obesity; smoker, suffering from arterial hypertension, type II diabetes, hypercholesterolemia, respiratory insufficiency and sleep apnea. He underwent gastric bypass surgery by laparoscopy at the Miguel Servet Hospital in Zaragoza. After the operation he was transferred to the ward for recovery and was discharged on the third day. This article reflects the nursing care process carried out during his postoperative period.
