Entre las úlceras de la extremidad inferior, son las de etiología venosa las que se presentan con mayor frecuencia. En el desarrollo de este caso clínico, se presenta un varón de 82 años, jubilado. En consulta de enfermería para control de sintrom, se visualiza de forma oportunista pequeña herida en tercio inferior interno de extremidad inferior izquierda. Refiere golpe en la huerta hace dos semanas y realización de curas con povidona yodada en domicilio sin resolución de esta. Se realiza diagnóstico de la herida y se inician curas por parte de enfermería en salas de curas del centro de salud. La variabilidad de criterio a la hora de realizar las curas y el nulo seguimiento de las mismas por el mismo profesional desembocó en mala evolución de la lesión. Finalmente, se decide iniciar el seguimiento de la úlcera por el mismo profesional de enfermería, generando una mejoría clínica franca de la lesión.
Among the ulcers of the lower extremity, those of venous etiology are the ones that occur most frequently. In the development of this clinical case, an 82 year old male, retired. In the nursing consultation for synthrom control, a small wound in the lower internal third of the left lower extremity was opportunistically discovered. He refers to a blow in the garden two weeks ago and treatment with povidone- iodine at home without resolution. A diagnosis of the wound is made and cures are initiated by nursing and treatment rooms of the health center. The variability of criteria when performing the cures and the null follow up of the same professional, led to a poor evolution of the lesion. Finally, it was decided to start the follow up of the ulcer by the same nursing professional, generating a frank clinical improvement of the lesion.
