Resumen de Cuidados de Enfermería en Atención Primaria a pacientes intervenidos en Unidades de Cirugía Mayor Ambulatoria

  Objetivo: Conocer el porcentaje de pacientes intervenidos en laUnidad de Cirugía Mayor Ambulatoria (UCMA) de Toledo que hacen uso de cuidados de Enfermería de Atención Primaria (AP) y tipo de cuidados que precisan.

  Diseño: descriptivo transversal.

  Participantes: 174 pacientes intervenidos en UCMA.

  Resultados: se recibieron 93 cuestionarios correctos (53,5%). Eltipo de intervención más frecuente fueron hernias (82,7%) y pa-tología anorrectal (8,6%). Hicieron uso de servicios de Enfermeríade AP un 51,6%, de los cuales el 85,1% fue para realización decuras de herida y el 36,1% precisaron educación sanitaria. En el 82,8% de historias no había constancia de que el paciente iba aser operado y en el 23,7% no existía información posterior a laintervención realizada.

  Conclusiones:

  -Un elevado porcentaje de pacientes que son intervenidos enUCMAs solicitan cuidados a Enfermería de A.P.

  -La información que se tiene en los Equipos de Atención Primaria(EAP), sobre todo previa a las intervenciones, es deficiente.

  Objectives: The purpose of this study was to know the percentageof patients, operated in the Out-patients Major Surgery Department(OMSD) of Toledo, who made use of Primary Care (PC) Nursing andwhat kind of care they needed.

  Design: Descriptive; cross-sectional.

  Participants: 174 patients operated in OMSD.

  Results: 93 right tests were admited (53.5%). Hernia (82.7%) andanorectal pathology (8.6%) were the kind of operations more frequent. 51.6% patients made use of PC Nursing Service, 85.1% ofthem were for injury cure and 36.1% were for health education. In82.8% of the case-histories, there were not reference that the pa-tient was to be operated, and in 23.7%, there were not posteriorreport of the operation carried out.

  Conclusions:

  - A high percentage of patients who are operated in OMSDs, ask forPC Nursing care.

  - The information wich in the Primary Care Team is had, above all af-ter the operations, is deficient.
