Introducción: La fractura del extremo distal del radio es la más habitual del miembro superior, siendo además una fractura muy frecuente en la población adulta, suponen de un 15 a un 20% de las fracturas atendidas en los servicios de urgencias Objetivo: Recopilar y analizar la bibliografía científica actual y más relevante de la intervención desde la fisioterapia en pacientes que han sufrido fractura distal de radio.
Conclusiones: La intervención de la fisioterapia con un tratamiento de rehabilitación temprana es efectiva y beneficiosa para la prevención y el tratamiento de los síntomas y signos en pacientes que padecen secuelas de fractura de radio.
Introduction: Fracture of the distal end of the radius is the most common fracture of the upper limb, being also a very common fracture in the adult population, accounting for 15 to 20% of fractures treated in emergency departments.
Objective: To compile and analyze the current and most relevant scientific literature on physiotherapy intervention in patients who have suffered a distal radius fracture.
Conclusions: Physiotherapy intervention with early rehabilitation treatment is effective and beneficial for the prevention and treatment of symptoms and signs in patients suffering from radius fracture sequelae.
