  Los pacientes con traumatismo agudo en el tobillo y la parte media del pie son una de las lesiones musculoesqueléticas más comunes. En la práctica deportiva las lesiones de tobillo son las más frecuentes, sumando entre el 25 y el 30% de todas las lesiones de atletas. Con el objetivo de reducir las radiaciones innecesarias se diseñaron las reglas de Ottawa y de Bernese.

  Patients with acute trauma to the ankle and midfoot are one of the most common musculoskeletal injuries. In sports, ankle injuries are the most frequent, accounting for between 25 and 30% of all athlete injuries. With the aim of reducing unnecessary radiation, the Ottawa and Bernese rules were designed.
