Physical restraints or restraints are the last resort used in certain situations to control behaviors that pose a high risk to the patient himself, to other users and to professionals and/or family members. Physical restraint can be considered as an exceptional therapeutic measure, of a temporary nature, aimed at limiting the mobility, partially or generally, of the person, to try to guarantee their safety or that of others.
