La Radioterapia con Aceleración de Electrones o radioterapia con aceleración lineal (LINAC) es el uso de un tipo de energía para destruir las células cancerosas y reducir el tamaño de los tumores. Como objetivos se plantean el mejor conocimiento de la radioterapia en el tratamiento de tumores, así como garantizar la seguridad del paciente y cubrir las necesidades que pueda tener a lo largo del tratamiento. Para conseguir los objetivos se conocerá el funcionamiento de un aparato de radiación externa y se planificará el tratamiento del paciente siguiendo una serie de etapas.
