La experiencia emocional del parto es una de las más enriquecedoras de la vida común de las parejas y se está convirtiendo en una experiencia excepcional por la que se pasa cada vez con menos frecuencia. Es un acontecimiento para el que sí se prepara a la madre, con la educación maternal, pero se hace menos hincapié en la preparación del padre. En este trabajo, preparamos clases para padres con el objetivo de que sepan cómo colaborar y cómo ayudar a su pareja una vez llegado el momento del parto. Realizamos un estudio prospectivo no aleatorio para valorar si la satisfacción materna en el parto se modifica con educación sanitaria a su pareja, mediante una encuesta a dos cohortes de gestantes: una de ellas expuesta a dicha educación. Los resultados obtenidos indican que la satisfacción de la mujer no mejora cuando asignamos un proceso educativo al padre
The labor is the most full felling emotional experience in the live of the couple. But at the same time it's becoming an experience that a couple is going through in less occasion. It's an event that the mother to be is preparated for with prenatal classes, but nobody has taken care of the prenatal education of the father. Nobody questions the significance that the partner stys with the woman in the moment of delivery. But no one has thought of his role at this very moment. And if he can increase the satisfaction of the mother during labor. It's common knowledge that the father's education can contribute in the health and mothers wellbeing. And this was the reason why we were motivated to do this research. Wich was focus in prenatal educational classes for father; to orientate them and to know how to collaborate whit the mother during delivery. We made a prospective research not alleatory to score if the mother satisfaction in the labor is modified by father's prenatal educational classes. By means lf two cohorts of pregnant women. One of them with prenatal educational classes for the partner and the one just control group. The outcome of this research shows that the satisfaction of the pregnant woman is not increased by the prenatal educational classes of the partners.
