Paciente de 68 años que ingresa en el servicio de cirugía oral y maxilofacial del Hospital Universitario Miguel Servet procedente de urgencias, tras consultar por un «herpes» en el labio que no mejora con el tratamiento, incluso llegando a empeorar en las últimas horas produciendo dolor y algo de sangrado. Al ingreso realizamos una primera valoración de enfermería de las 14 Necesidades de Virginia Henderson y programamos el plan de cuidados correspondiente. A posteriori y con el diagnóstico y tratamiento quirúrgico realizado se va modificando para cubrir todas las necesidades que presentan alteradas.
A 68-year-old patient who is admitted to the oral and maxillofacial surgery service of the Miguel Servet University Hospital from the emergency room, after consulting for a «herpes» on the lip that does not improve with treatment, even getting worse in the last hours producing pain and some bleeding. Upon admission, we made a first nursing assessment of Virginia Henderson’s 14 Needs and programmed the corresponding care plan. A posteriori and with the diagnosis and surgical treatment carried out, it is modified to cover all the needs that it presents.
