Introducción: El trasplante autólogo de células progenitoras hematopoyéticas es aquella variante del trasplante de médula ósea que permite usar las células hematopoyéticas propias.
Objetivo: comprender las vivencias de las personas sometidas a un trasplante autólogo de progenitores hematopoyéticos en su domicilio y promover su uso en las unidades de oncohematología.
Metodología: se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica para encontrar la evidencia científica sobre el uso de esta terapia.
Conclusiones: La realización del trasplante autólogo de células progenitoras hematopoyéticas en el domicilio del paciente mejora su recuperación.

Objective: The purpose of this study is to understand the lived experience of patients undergoing an at-home autologous stem-cell transplant (ASCT) and promote its use.
Methodology: was realized in a bibliographic review to search for scientific evidence of this therapy.
Conclusions: Autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplant at the patient’s home can improve their recovery.
