Mujer de 47 años que es trasladada a la unidad de cuidados intensivos tras sufrir un trasplante renal. Este paciente llega intubado a la unidad de cuidados intensivos del Hospital Clínico Lozano Blesa y su evolución habitual se caracteriza por una progresiva mejoría en la condición clínica del paciente con una rápida evolución hacia la normalización de la función renal. Una vez se decide ingresar al paciente, el personal de enfermería elabora un PAE para suplir las Necesidades Básicas que ella no pueda suplir. De esta manera, todas sus necesidades básicas serán cubiertas con la colaboración del personal del hospital, sus allegados y ella misma.
