We present the case of a deep second degree thermal burn and third degree areas on the right hand caused by hot oil treated from primary care. This etiology of burns is the most frequent in Spain, that is, caused by the splashing of hot liquids. After an initial assessment to rule out the severity of the patient’s life, a follow-up of cures was carried out on the lesion under the context of a moist cure with a hydrogel and a hydrophilic dressing. Continuous rehabilitation work was also encouraged in each consultation of follow-up of the burn to be carried out by part of the patient at home.
