La protagonista de este relato es una paciente incluida en el proceso de cuidados paliativos, siendo conocedora en todo momento de la evolución de su enfermedad. Durante el relato contará las vivencias sobre su enfermedad y los sentimientos en la etapa final de su vida. Esta etapa final, gracias a sus fuertes creencias religiosas, es afrontada como un momento de esperanza y de ilusión por poder encontrase con su Dios, no mostrando temor alguno a la muerte, siendo su única preocupación no pasar por la experiencia negativa previa de su madre, fallecida de cáncer sin poder haber sido atendida por cuidados paliativos y dejar una imagen de tranquilidad a sus familiares en el momento de su muerte.
The protagonist of this story is a patient who has been included in the process of palliative care, who was aware at all times of the prognosis and development of her illness. During the story she described to us her experiences in the final stage of her life. Thanks to her strong religious beliefs, this final stage is faced as a moment of hope and divinity to meet her God, not showing any fear of death. Her only concern was that she did not want to go through the same negative experience that her mother did, who died of cancer without receiving palliative care and didn't leave an image of tranquillity to her relatives at the time of her death that her daughter did.
