El ingreso de un enfermo en un hospital, además de los problemas inherentes al diagnóstico y tratamiento, implica otros muchos problemas derivados de la realidad psicológico-social del paciente, que es mucho más que un organismo biológicamente alterado.
Enfermera supone enfrentarse a un mundo hasta entonces desconocido. Todo individuo cuando enferma experimenta una serie de reacciones emocionales ante la enfermedad que debemos considerar. Existen muchos factores que intervienen en esas reacciones entre los que destacan la personalidad del paciente, la edad, el tipo de enfermedad, la familia y los amigos, el hospital y la personalidad de los profesionales de la salud.
The admission of a patient to a hospital, in addition to the problems inherent to diagnosis and treatment, involves many other problems derived from the psychological-social reality of the patient, which is much more than a biologically altered organism.
Nurse means facing a hitherto unknown world. Every individual when experiencing a series of emotional reactions to the disease that we must consider. There are many factors that intervene in these reactions, among which the personality of the patient, age, type of disease, family and friends, the hospital and the personality of health professionals stand out.
