Conmemorando los 100 años de la muerte de Florence Nightingale se han llevado a cabo numerosos actos de homenaje a nivel mundial en recuerdo de la precursora de la "enfermería moderna". Con la finalidad de contribuir a la difusión de la obra de Florence Nightingale, decidimos llevar a cabo una visita a su museo, situado en el Hospital de Saint Thomas de Londres, recientemente remodelado. Aprovechando que el museo expone su vida y obra en tres secciones: niñez y familia, trabajo en la guerra de Crimea, y la reforma y espíritu luchador en el área de la salud, hemos relatado el recorrido por su historia, intentando transmitir al lector las sensaciones que nos produjo y animándolo a que lo visite
The Florence Nightingale Museum: commemorating the centenary of her death Coinciding with the first centenary of the death of Florence Nightingale, numerous events have taken place, all over the world, in memory of the precursor of "modern nursing". In order to help disseminate the work of Florence Nightingale, we decided to conduct a visit to her museum, located in the recently remodeled Saint Thomas Hospital in London. Mirroring the museum's displays of her life and work, this paper has been divided into three sections: children and family, work in the Crimean War, and reform and fighting spirit in health care. It reports our journey through history, trying to convey to the reader an idea of the sensations felt throughout the visit and we encouraging him to visit
