Se expone un caso clínico real de síndrome de Willians Beure con cardiopatía congénita, y su abordaje en uno de los ingresos en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos tras ser sometido a una cirugía cardiovascular. Se realiza una valoración integral del sujeto, estructurada por las 14 necesidades de Virginia Henderson. Se identifican los problemas principales que presenta el paciente: alteración de la función cognitiva, deterioro de la eliminación urinaria, ansiedad, afrontamiento ineficaz de la relajación, etc. En base a éstos se proponen objetivos e intervenciones, se lleva a cabo una ejecución determinada y por último se realiza una evaluación y un seguimiento para reforzar así la utilidad de trabajar llevando a cabo planes de cuidados específicos a cada paciente.
We present a real clinical case of Willians Beure syndrome with congenital heart disease, and its approach in one of the admissions in the Intensive Care Unit after undergoing cardiovascular surgery. An integral evaluation of the subject is carried out, structured by the 14 needs of Virginia Henderson. The main problems presented by the patient are identified: impaired cognitive function, deterioration of urinary elimination, anxiety, ineffective coping with relaxation, etc. Based on these, objectives and interventions are proposed, a specific execution is carried out and finally an evaluation and follow-up is carried out to reinforce the usefulness of working by carrying out specific care plans for each patient.
