El objeto de este estudio consistió en identificar las intervenciones orientadas hacia la promoción de salud ambiental infantil disponibles en la literatura y su relación con las condiciones y requisitos para alcanzar la salud según la Carta de Ottawa. Se realizó una revisión sistemática de literatura en la cual se buscaron artículos en las bases de datos de la BVS, EBSCO Host, Scielo y los motores de búsqueda Google académico y ScienceDirect, publicados de 2017 a 2017 y que incluían intervenciones en salud ambiental infantil. Los términos de búsqueda utilizados fueron salud ambiental, Saúde Ambiental, environmental Health combinados con el término booleano “y -&” con los términos salud del niño, Saúde da Criança, Child Health, promoción de la salud, Promoção da Saúde y Health Promotion. Se identificaron 937 artículos, de los cuales 14 contenían intervenciones relacionadas con temas como dengue, enfermedades diarreicas, tuberculosis, contaminación por humo de tabaco, hogares saludables, saneamiento básico, manejo de residuos sólidos, escuelas limpias y contaminación por plomo y arsénico. Las intervenciones se realizaron principalmente en ambientes escolares y acorde con la carta de Ottawa, correspondieron a creación de ambientes favorables y reforzamiento de acción comunitaria, seguido por estrategias que promueven el desarrollo de habilidades personales.
The purpose of this study was to identify the interventions oriented towards the promotion of children's environmental health available in the literature and their relationship with the conditions and requirements to achieve health according to the Ottawa Charter. A systematic literature review was conducted in which articles were searched in the databases of the VHL, EBSCO Host, Scielo and the academic Google and ScienceDirect search engines, published from 2017 to 2017 and which included interventions on children's environmental health. The search terms used were environmental health, Saúde Ambiental, environmental Health combined with the Boolean term "y - &" with the terms child health, Saúde da Criança, Child Health, health promotion, Promoção da Saúde and Health Promotion. 937 articles were identified, of which 14 contained interventions related to topics such as dengue, diarrheal diseases, tuberculosis, tobacco smoke pollution, healthy homes, basic sanitation, solid waste management, clean schools, and lead and arsenic contamination. The interventions were mainly carried out in school environments and in accordance with the Ottawa letter, corresponded to the creation of favorable environments and reinforcement of community action, followed by strategies that promote the development of personal skills.
