Introducción: the present article about occupational ergonomics applied to disability is intended to explain the contribution that ergonomics can make on the field of disability, valuable from the point of view of the person, the work or activity carried out, and the products used for it. Métodos: the method used will be an exhaustive analysis of the current practice of ergonomics in different kinds of disability, depending on the origin of the disability, the age and the place where the activity takes place. The aim of this work will be to show the main resources that ergonomics currently provides, not only in the workplace (the best known application of this discipline), but also in the domestic field on people who are not in a situation of work, either because of their age or because the degree of dependency that they suffer from, making impossible for them to do so.. Conclusión: the aim is focus on ergonomics from the point of view of Occupational Therapy, as a member of a multidisciplinary team where this professional can advise, assess and implement changes in the environment promoting the quality of life of the user.
Introduction: with this project, we intend to establish an intervention based on the use of the culture present in the municipality of Santa Coloma de Gramenet, as a means to promote the social participation of people with severe mental disorder who come to the Community Rehabilitation Service Martí i Juliá belonging to the Institute of Neuropsychiatry and Addictions of the Parc de Salut Mar. Methods: this project consists of seven phases, ranging from establishing contact with the City Council, an Environmental Analysis of the Cultural Elements of the Municipality, the creation of a group of people from the Rehabilitation Service committed and interested in participating, until the implementation of the Program and the Evaluation and Analysis of data. Conclusion: with the implementation of this program we want to achieve, on the one hand, reduce the stigma present in society about people suffering from serious mental disorders, and on the other hand, it aims to achieve social participation of this group of people through the use of cultural elements as agents of inclusion.
