Objective. Identifying the contribution of using films in the processof teaching-learning in bioethics and verifying the facilities anddifficulties in using this teaching resource. Methodology. Aqualitative study analyzed from the Bardin referential. Semistructuredinterviews were carried out, recorded, and transcribedin full. For definition of the sample was used the criteria ofrepetition. In total, participated in the study 21 students ofNursing and Biochemistry, members of a Center for Teachingand Research in Bioethics of a public federal university in thecity of Divinópolis, Minas Gerais, Brazil. During the analysisof interviews, two thematic categories and two subcategoriesemerged. Results. In their responses, students indicated theimportance of viewing the bioethical problem for the reflectionand decision-making in professional practice. Many reportedthat from the experience in discussions of the films showed,were made changes in the ethical position. Conclusion: Theuse of films as a teaching resource contributes to the processof teaching-learning in bioethics for undergraduate students. Thediscussions of the films are stimulating and provide a space forreflection and dialogue on bioethical problems that students mayencounter in their professional practice.
