    LA INFLUENCIA DEL CALZADO SOBRE EL RENDIMIENTO Y SU RELACIÓN CON LAS LESIONES deportivas ha sido objeto de estudio del Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia (IBV) durante los últimos 15 años. El propósito de esta línea de investigación se ha centrado en generar conocimientos y herramientas de aplicación industrial con los que diseñar y fabricar calzado de serie con mejores prestaciones técnicas. En este artículo se presenta un nuevo servicio del IBV orientado a la personalización de calzado.

    The influence of footwear on performance and its relation to injuries has been studied by the Institute of Biomechanics of Valencia (IBV) during the last 15 years. The purpose of this research line was focused on the generation of knowledge and tools of industrial application for the design and manufacture of footwear with better technical characteristics. This article presents a new service of the IBV aimed at customising footwear.
