  Las redes neuronales están transformando la enfermería al integrar análisis de datos, predicción y automatización en el cuidado clínico, la gestión y la docencia. Estos algoritmos, inspirados en el funcionamiento cerebral, procesan enormes volúmenes de información clínica para identificar patrones y anticipar desenlaces con base en evidencia científica. En el ámbito educativo, permiten personalizar la enseñanza según el ritmo y las necesidades del estudiante, mientras que en la administración hospitalaria optimizan recursos y detectan ineficiencias en tiempo real. No obstante, su adopción requiere que los programas de formación en enfermería incluyan competencias en ciencia de datos e inteligencia artificial. Formar profesionales capaces de interpretar y aplicar estos sistemas no es un lujo tecnológico, sino un deber ético ante la creciente dependencia de los datos en la toma de decisiones clínicas. En consecuencia, la enfermería contemporánea se redefine en diálogo constante con la inteligencia artificial.

  Neural networks are steadily reshaping the field of nursing, merging data analysis, prediction, and automation into the core of care, management, and education. These algorithms, modeled after the intricate workings of the human brain, are capable of examining immense volumes of clinical information and uncovering patterns that might otherwise go unnoticed. By anticipating outcomes and generating recommendations supported by evidence, they contribute to safer and more precise decision-making. In the educational sphere, they allow for truly personalized learning paths, adapting to the rhythm and progress of each student. In hospital administration, they reveal inefficiencies that may hinder workflow and help allocate resources more intelligently. Yet, for this potential to materialize, nursing programs must deliberately include competencies in data science and artificial intelligence. Preparing professionals who can interpret and ethically apply these tools is not merely a technical demand it has become a moral responsibility within the complexity of today’s healthcare landscape.
