Los cuidados que precisan los pacientes que ingresan en la UCI con coronavirus, son los mismos que precisan el resto de pacientes con patología crítica compleja pero más orientados a soporte respiratorio, motivo principal de ingreso en UCI. Estos cuidados al paciente COVID, han ido evolucionando conforme avanzaba la enfermedad y a la vez que se ha ido teniendo mayor conocimiento sobre el tema, adaptándose a cada paciente y a cada situación clínica.
Introduction: The care required by patients admitted to the ICU with coronavirus is the same as that required by other patients with complex critical pathology but more oriented to respiratory support, the main reason for admission to the ICU. This care for the COVID patient has evolved as the disease progressed and at the same time it has become more knowledgeable about the subject, adapting to each patient and each clinical situation.
