Se presenta el caso de un hombre de 68 años con antecedentes de hiperuricemia, gota crónica con tofos y artrosis secundaria, que acude a urgencias por dolor intenso, inflamación y deformidad en el 3º dedo de la mano derecha, compatible con una crisis gotosa grave. El diagnóstico se realizó mediante clínica y pruebas complementarias sin hallazgos radiológicos agudos. Se realizó tratamiento con antiinflamatorios y ajuste de tratamiento hiperuricemiante con buena evolución.
We present the case of a 68-year–old man with a history of hyperuricemia, chronic gout with tophi and secondary osteoarthritis, who presented to the emergency room for intense pain, inflammation and deformity in the 3rd finger of the right hand compatible with a severe gouty crisis. Diagnosis was made by clinical and complementary tests without acute radiological findings. Treatment with anti-inflammatories and adjustment of hyperuricemic treatment with good evolution.
