En el siguiente caso clínico se presenta un caso de un paciente de 51 años que presenta rotura de aorta infrarrenal con desenlace infausto. Inicialmente el paciente es valorado en su centro de salud, donde se interpreta el cuadro como un cólico renal. Posteriormente, acude a su hospital de referencia donde se diagnostica la disección. Es traslado mediante ambulancia medicalizada directamente a quirófano de cirugía vascular. Es intervenido con éxito y es trasladado a unidad de cuidados intensivos (UCI), donde finalmente fallece por complicaciones derivadas de la cirugía.
The following clinical case presents a 51-year-old patient with an infrarenal aortic dissection with an unfortunate outcome. The patient was initially evaluated at his health center, where the condition was diagnosed as renal colic. He subsequently attended his referral hospital, where the dissection was diagnosed. He was transported by medical ambulance directly to the vascular surgery operating room. He underwent successful surgery and was transferred to the intensive care unit (ICU), where he ultimately died from complications resulting from the surgery.
