El arte tiene la gran ventaja de generar diferentes percepciones según quien lo contemple. No es propiedad exclusiva del creador, sino también del observador. El arte germina, nace, crece y se desarrolla.
En esta edición de MedUNAB, dedicada a la salud materna, la interpretación de la portada será única para cada observador (Figura 1). Para mí, en esta obra se introduce un útero como sujeto principal, en blanco y negro, basado en patrones y elaborado con bolígrafo de tinta. El fondo, que es creación digital, muestra un degradado de lila y verde, colores que representan la maternidad y la vida, respectivamente. Entre estos colores, se encuentra un mosaico de orquídeas creado con acuarela digital (Tayasui Sketches). La combinación de técnicas físicas y digitales —una creada en 2012 y la otra en 2024— ilustra la evolución y la persistencia en el tiempo.
Art can generate different perceptions, depending on who contemplates it. It is not the creator's exclusive property but also the observer's. Art germinates, is born, grows, and develops.In this edition of MedUNAB, dedicated to maternal health, the interpretation of the cover will be unique for each observer (Figure 1). In this work, a uterus is introduced as the main subject, in black and white, based on patterns and elaborated with ink pen. The background, which is a digital creation, shows a gradient of lilac and green, colors that represent motherhood and life, respectively. Between these colors is a mosaic of orchids created with digital watercolor (Tayasui Sketches). The combination of physical and digital techniques - one created in 2012 and the other in 2024 - illustrates evolution and persistence over time.
