Resumen de Study of the relationship between smoking habits and perceived work stress

• In an attempt to improve the health of employees at the Ceuta University Hospital, a review of data related to the smoking habits of employees in their medical records was conducted. Because these figures are excessively high, there is a need to create an action plan focused on prevention with interventions specific to the problem.

  In order to implement an intervention commensurate with the magnitude of the identified problem, the question arises as to whether the cause of these high figures is related to stressful work situations. Therefore, this study is necessary and is being conducted for preventive and appropriate purposes based on its conclusions.
