El almacén es un lugar físico dónde se almacenan las existencias. En el Hospital siempre hay dos almacenes básicos, el almacén de farmacia y el almacén general. La finalidad del almacén es garantizar el aprovisionamiento de las Unidades y Servicios, para ello tiene que tener un buen sistema de control. El celador tiene sus funciones asignadas para el buen funcionamiento, el celador debe ser resolutivo y realizar las tareas de una manera rápida y efectiva, controlando en todo momento la mercancía que transporta.
