Se emplea un diseño mixto cualitativo y cuantitativo. La fase cualitativa incluye entrevistas con enfermeros y cuidadores para identificar prácticas clave en la prevención de UPP. La fase cuantitativa analiza la incidencia de UPP antes y después de la implementación del PAE en una muestra de pacientes con movilidad reducida en un entorno hospitalario.
Tras la aplicación del Plan de Atención de Enfermería (PAE), se observó una reducción del 40% en la aparición de UPP en pacientes con movilidad reducida.
A mixed qualitative and quantitative design is used. The qualitative phase includes interviews with nurses and caregivers to identify key practices for pressure ulcer prevention. The quantitative phase analyzes the incidence of pressure ulcers before and after the implementation of the Nursing Care Plan (NCP) in a sample of patients with reduced mobility in a hospital setting.
After implementing the Nursing Care Plan (NCP), a 40% reduction in the occurrence of pressure ulcers will be observed in patients with reduced mobility.
